Trying Something New

So I have never done a blog but most of all I have never posted anything about my weight online so this is all very new and very scary for me but I wanted some accountability and somewhere that more than just me see my goals.
I have battled with my weight for several years now after sustaining a back injury. I was put on 2 different medications that contradicted each other and with in a months time put on 20lbs. Not horrible I know but i was already about 15lbs overweight so this put me at being 35lbs overweight!!! I was devastated but due to the injury was very limited in what I could do. Sadly I turned to food for comfort and obviously kept putting on weight. Well here I am now about 50lbs more than I want to be and I'm getting married in 6 months. I have played the yoyo dieting game and lost and gained over the last few years but always give up. Well I don't want to give up this time. I want to make one goal a week and try to lose weight that way. I have tried changing too much at once too many times and fail but if I can change one thing at a time and make it a habit I think I can accomplish my goal of losing weight. I know for some people losing weight and setting goals is easy but for me it is a big challenge and I get discouraged very easy. So here is starts One Goal a Week!!

No going out to eat at all!!!
Portion control!!!
